After high school and college Steve worked as an Aircraft Mechanic and Pilot. While working as a corporate pilot he had a serious neck injury resulting in broken vertebrae in the cervical spine. The accident caused debilitating problems throughout his body. These included; constant acute headache, back pain, sciatica, extreme TMJ problems and many other accompanying diagnosis and symptoms.

The TMJ problems required numerous surgeries including removing his upper jaw from the skull and repositioning. Three more surgeries were required to rebuild the lower jaw. After the surgeries and 3-4 years of agonizing pain Steve was left nearly unable to function. Through a series of circumstances
(Steve believes, lead by God) He was able to receive treatment from Dr. George Goodheart Jr. of Detroit, MI who, with several others had developed a field called "Applied Kinesiology". Basically, Dr. Goodheart used his techniques to balance the muscles Steve's face and body which caused such rapid, significant relief that he was amazed. This occurred in the mid 1980's.

Steve began reading and learning everything he could about these amazing techniques to help himself and then began volunteering to help others. He resumed his career as a pilot for one of the world's largest airlines and flew both domestically and internationally until early 2001 when he changed careers to pursue what has become his passion. That is; helping people with chronic pain and dysfunction to function closer to their optimum and live a more, full, balanced life. The field of Applied Kinesiology has continued to develop. Using a combination of techniques combining western medical knowledge with the bodies "electrical" system from eastern medicine and new understandings of how the brain functions through the study of Quantum Physics we have very powerful tools to help others function closer to how we were created to function.

Steve trained as a medical Massage therapist and did an intern program with Goshen Health System and Cancer center in Goshen, IN. He is certified as both a K-Power® and a Touch for Health Instructor and teaches regularly. He is one of a very small number of Professional Kinesiology Practitioner's in the United States. He continues to learn both through his daily experience working with clients and attending cutting edge training on the latest discoveries.
