Professional Kinesiology
techniques work very effectively with athletic injuries, improving
athletic performance and people suffering with
chronic pain, such as Fibromyalgia,
Chronic Fatigue, and arthritis. With other treatments the focus is
to correct a problem in the body. Aside from eating right,
exercising and other basic lifestyle adaptations, they offer very
little to improve or optimize the body’s performance.
Using PKP techniques and what we call “goal setting” we can access
subtle electrical changes within your body which are related to your
specific goals. The brain knows the condition of every cell in your
body and what it needs. For example, if you are walking and start
running, your brain automatically speeds up your heart rate, your
respiration and you may start sweating to adjust you temperature.
This all happens subconsciously. By setting a goal, we are accessing
what your brain thinks needs to occur to best meet that goal. Using
the PKP database we have access to hundreds of specific protocols or
procedures that have been found by doctors and therapists to balance
those electrical imbalances. So instead of taking whatever procedure
or modality someone specializes in and trying to make it work for
your given “problem”, we are accessing what your brain and body
thinks it needs. We then use the database to match any of the
hundreds of protocols to the specific imbalances showing up in your
body which are specific to your goals.
The goals we work with may be physical but they may just as well be
emotional, relational, spiritual, nutritional, financial, social or
related to any other area of your life. As we proceed with your
balance it will likely become very evident that all of the different
aspects of your life are related and you can’t separate the effect
one area has on another area in your life.
We encourage people to think more broadly about what they really
want. For example Dr. Dewe uses an example of a older gentleman who
came to see him complaining of an arm problem. He was having pain
and difficulty moving his arm. After taking a history and digging a
little further Dr. Dewe and the client discovered that what he
really wanted was to be able to play tennis with his grandson.
Working further into the balance it was found that there were
actually some relational and emotional blockages that inhibited his
arm from working freely and without pain. By resolving those issues
the client almost immediately was able to freely use his arm without
pain.
Instead of being limited to just “fixing something” we can help
remove restrictions which are inhibiting you from meeting your
goals, which allows you to reach closer toward your true goals and
desires. |
